Preserving Aiken's Horse and Hound Heritage

Our Mission
Our mission is to preserve tradition, promote education, and advance conservation, ensuring Aiken's equestrian heritage and natural resources thrive for future generations.
Tradition. Education. Conservation
The Aiken Hounds Foundation upholds our region’s rich history and strengthens the local riding landscape through three areas of focus.
Tradition
Aiken's horse and hound heritage belongs to all of us. We help keep its customs, its sport, and its people connected for the generations to come.
Education
Educational experiences open the door for young people to build knowledge around horses, hounds, and care for the land to help preserve those Aiken traditions.
Conservation
The land is what makes it all possible. We promote safe riding and healthy habitats through responsible stewardship of open spaces, forests, and trails.
